My Story
A Look Back
I never knew that I would be guiding woman through one of the most devastating situations of their life. Being a partner of a sexual addict has been difficult to admit. I didn’t want this to be my story. I struggled through deep amounts of pain, anger, grief, shame, and honestly - an identity crisis. The devastation is REAL and the trauma is overwhelming. As a Christian woman I struggled with who do I run to with this heavy tainted weight that has impacted my entire family? My faith in God felt shattered and distant. I didn’t understand why God? Why me?
Embracing the Journey
My story is my reality. I learned that I need to press into the healing process and not run from it. I found great healing on many levels as I pursued what I needed for myself and in others. Once I was able to acknowledge and lean into the process of emotional, physical, & spiritual trauma I was able to start the new journey God had for me.

A New Reality
Our family is a different family today from the life-shattering destruction that has happened to us. My marriage is a new marriage of restoration - built upon truth, trust, vulnerability, and intimacy. My husband is a changed man who lives very differently in being fully known. It’s a long journey whether you stay married or you go separate ways. Regardless, a life of freedom, transparency, and whole-hearted healing is worth it.
